Customer Reviews: brilliant This book was excellent, and thats comin from a Manchester United fan. Mickey Francis and his brothers tell the exact story of their years in football violence. He was brought up in one of, if not, the roughest areas in the country and uses this to get his point across. It is a must read book if you are a football fan and has been brilliantly written. The best book of its kind. An outstanding account of leading one of the countrys largest football firms. This book is written by Micky Francis, a man who grew up in Moss Side Manchester - the home of Manchester City Football Club. The book tells the story of how Micky Francis became one of the top boys in Manchester City's firm - "the Guvnors". An outstanding book which tells how football violence grew through the 70's and 80's and the highs and lows of supporting such a massive football club. I have read a number of books relating to football violence and this, i would have to say, is the best by far. Chapters include - "we hate leeds", "scousers", "cockneys". Buy it now! great! it really tells you a good and truthful story of the hooliganism of football. The bloke doesn't like football though! met him and he is just a bully!!!! ;D
