Green Street - turning left outside Upton Park Tube, leading away from the Boleyn Ground; heading towards Forest Gate/Manor Park:
KFC - Usual offerings and prices - no introduction necessary
Duncan's Pie, Mash & Eels - 365 Green Street, E13 - Open from 10h30 to 18h00 - situated just outside Upton Park tube. Fairly popular on match days and a way to sample a slice of East End London.
Dixy Chicken - There are 3 outlets of this franchise, serving the kind of menu you would expect at KFC. Varying offers, depending on outlet - 2 are situated on Green Street, one right opposite Queens Fish Bar, and another on
the Barking Road (A124)
Kebabish - corner of Green Street and Plashet Grove. Offers Balti dishes, curries, tikka's and roti (not really sure what a roti is to be quite honest....) You can sit down inside to have your grub. Lamb doner costs £2.95
Green Street: Leading towards the Boleyn Ground/Barking Road (A124)
Queens Fish Bar, Green Street. Slightly biased view, as I've always got my pre-match grub from there, but it has to be the essential selection. Nearer towards kick off, there can be a bit of a queue going. Plain sausage and ships costs £1.60
Percy Ingle Sandwich bar and bakery - Queens Market, Green Street. Filled rolls from 95p, sandwiches from £1.25 & stick rolls from £1.35; also available are snacks (pasties/bacon butties) and English Breakfasts. Not open on midweek PM matches.
Ozzy's cafe/restaurant - Queens Market, Green Street. offers chips, burgers and sandwiches from £1.80. Also able to sit down inside.
Al Farooq Kebabish - Green Street. Another kebab shop on Green Street - a large doner costs £2.50, and burgers from £1.10. "Southern Fried" chicken pieces are also available.
Ken's Cafe - Green Street. Quite popular on match days as it is quite close to the ground. Hamburgers and hotdogs are £1.50, and cheeseburgers are £1.80 Seating is available inside.
Perfect Rooster - 468 Green Street. Arrggghhh!!!!!!!! Another KFC Variant. Everyone seems to have gone chicken mad !!!
A124 Barking Road - from the end of Green Street to Priory Road
Jade Palace - Barking Road. Chinese food + fish and chips
East & West - Barking Road. "Southern Fried Chicken" and kebabs which start from £2.50
Cassetaris Cafe - Barking Road. Freshly cut sandwiches and filled rolls - queues can be long, but you are able to sit inside
Nathan's Pie & Mash - Barking Road. Pie costs £1.20 & mash 60p. You can sit down inside, but this is a very popular outlet and queues can get stupidly long at times
Eran Fish and Chips - Barking Road. Pasties, sausages, fish and chips. Cod costs £2.40, large/small chips £1.20/80p respectively. Again this is another popular place, and queues can get very long at times.
Priory Road - turning off from A124 Barking Road.
West Ham's favourite Burger Bar - Priory Road, E13. This is a very West Ham place to get food. Painted in claret and blue, it offers many a burger with special names such as the Terminator, named after west Ham hero Julian Dicks. Try the StevieBaconBurger (named after West Ham United and Newham Recorder photographer Steve Bacon) - 2 Burgers and bacon - yours for three notes Guv'nor.
