Update from Mick Geggus.....
Hope everybodys cushty out there. Just thought I'd let you all know what's happening in the Canning town planning department!
First, the Rejects will be playing the BRITISH INVASION show in L.A. on November 20th.
The plan from there is to record the new album in January, and to play a handful of dates stateside straight after.
The big news for us is that the book "thingyney Reject", the boy Turners autobiography now has an official release date in early April.
The reason for the delays are that the f**king thing's turning out a lot longer than anyone thought!
I've seen some of the draughts and call me biased, but I think it's brilliant, as funny as f**k, too.
Which brings me to the point. With both the book and hopefully the album being out around the same time we're booking a U.K. tour to promote them, hopefully cuminating in a London show at the Circus Tavern which will also feature the legendary Gonads!
So people, if all goes well, we will all be together at last!!
In the coming months we'll be running a competiton so some poor bugger can win some tickets for the show and as soon as all the dates are confirmed I'll post them right here.
Who knows, we might even get a Richard and Judy slot!
But seriously, yet again thanks to all of you out there for sticking by us, and we look forward to seeing you all in April/May.
Be lucky all,
Cheers,
Mick Geggus.
